The Squeeze is cool by itself, yes, but it's the human energy and passion that takes it to the level of way cool. Here's a little bit about us:
Gary and Misty Young
Gary "The Busboy" and Misty "The Boss," dreamed about owning the Squeeze In "someday" for 15 years before it appeared as an opportunity out of the blue in 2003. They've worked together at the Squeeze since then and love the chance to spend more time with each other and have a weird love affair with the Squeeze.
Chad and Shila Morris
Shila "The Bride" has been at the Squeeze since 2004 with her parents, Gary and Misty Young, and has converted her wonderful husband, Chad "The Babe" Morris to the "dark side" bringing him into the family business in 2006. The Morris' wed on June 30, 2006, and live in Reno. Shila is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno and Chad is a certified arborist with many years of landscape and retail management experience. Shila and Chad are co-owners of both Squeeze In locations (Truckee and Reno).
Kay Young
Kay "The Blonde" is the youngest member of the Young clan to work at the Squeeze. She's an avid singer, songwriter and saxophone player and is crazy about her dogs: Labrador Chewy and Cocker Spaniel Sandy. Kay has been serving Squeeze guests since she was 11 and does a fantastic job. Now...if she could just clean her room... She is a student at Sierra College in Truckee.

The Boyz Under the Hood
You don't see 'em, much but you love 'em! The Boyz Under the Hood in the kitchen spend hours every day washing, chopping, cooking, shredding, cleaning, ordering, cleaning again, chopping, slicing, shredding, cleaning...a never ending cycle!
The Boyz Under the Hood have pumped out as many as 374 meals from the Squeeze's tiny 40 square foot kitchen in just seven hours. An amazing feat which can't be accomplished without great teamwork and advance preparation. Great job guys! The Truckee kitchen isn't much bigger than a modern day walk in closet. We're serious!
Amanda Thorsby
Amanda is the Assistant Manager of the Reno Squeeze. She is a Truckee native, and if you can believe it, has been working for the Squeeze In since she was 15, that’s almost 6 years. Obviously, the Squeeze In is her second home. Amanda is also a full time student at The University Nevada, Reno working to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. When she is not studying, or working, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, her boyfriend Rick, and her puppy Remy. She and Rick just bought their first house in north Reno!
Heidi Davis
Heidi Davis is the catering manager for both locations. She just came on board with the Squeeze In, and we are so happy to have her. Not only does she cater, but she also works the floor whenever we need an extra hand. She is an amazing mother of two (to Amanda the Squeeze’s Reno Assistant Manager (above) and to Alex a Freshman at McQueen) and a fantastic wife to Dave.
Hannah Hull
Hannah has enjoyed working at the Squeeze In since New Year's Day, 2008. She recently graduated from UNR with a degree in Spanish and a minor in Art. She is loving married life with her newlywed Peter (shown in the photo). She also enjoys helping out with the Jr. High group at her church, painting, rock climbing, reading and hanging out with friends.
