The Squeeze is cool by itself, yes, but it's the human energy and passion that takes it to the level of way cool. Here's a little bit about us:
Gary and Misty Young
Gary "The Busboy" and Misty "The Boss," dreamed about owning the Squeeze In "someday" for 15 years before it appeared as an opportunity out of the blue in 2003. They've worked together at the Squeeze since then and love the chance to spend more time with each other and have a weird love affair with the Squeeze.
Chad and Shila Morris
Shila has been at the Squeeze since 2004 with her parents, Gary and Misty Young, and has converted her wonderful husband, Chad Morris to the "dark side" bringing him into the family business in 2006. The Morris' wed on June 30, 2006, and live in Reno. Shila is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno and Chad is a certified arborist with many years of landscape and retail management experience. Shila and Chad are co-owners of all Squeeze In locations.
Kay Young
Kay is the youngest member of the Young clan. She's an avid singer, songwriter, and saxophone player. Kay has been serving Squeeze guests since she was 11 and does a fantastic job.

Nicole Sexton
Nicole is the General Manager of the Truckee Squeeze In. She's known for running a tight ship, and for her sharp wit and sly smile. She's from the San Diego area and is an avid fan of the Chargers and the Padres. She loves getting outdoors: in the winter, she snowboards and cross country skis, and in the summer, catch her paddle boarding with her dog Mista Man. She has a beautiful baby girl, Harley Jean. Emily Bohlen
Emily was born and raised in Virginia, until her family moved here at the beginning of high school. She started at the Squeeze In at the tender age of 17 and has been delighting our family, staff and guests with her dedication to service and quick wit. Hostessing for three years before serving, and ultimately is now the General Manager of the Northwest Reno Squeeze, Emily has truly worked her way up and earned every position at the Squeeze In with integrity and grace. Emily graduated from McQueen in 2009, and from UNR with her bachelors in education in 2013. Emily loves to give back to children and her community and takes great pride in her work, both as a student, and a manager.
Amanda Martinez
Amanda is the General Manager of the South Reno Squeeze. She is a Truckee native, and if you can believe it, has been working for the Squeeze In since she was 15. Amanda has Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University Nevada, Reno. She enjoys spending time with her family, her husband Rick, and their doggies Remy and Winnie. Steve Hatcher
Steve is the newest General Manager and he heads up the Sparks Nevada Squeeze In. A Marine and formerly a Reno Police Officer, Steve knows how to serve his community and country! His family includes his lovely wife, Caroline, and son Colin and daughter Maile.
Heidi Davis
Heidi Davis is the Regional Manager of all Squeeze In restaurants. She is the loving mother of Amanda, the Squeeze’s South Reno GM (above), and to Alex, who also hosts at the Squeeze (we like the whole family thing!). Photo by Tom Falconer.
Rigo Mora
Rigoberto Mora is our Regional Kitchen Manager and has been with the Squeeze In longer than any of us have! When the Youngs bought the original restaurant in Truckee, they couldn't help but ask Rigo stay on with us, as he had already been with cooking in the restaurant for YEARS. Rigo does a fabulous job managing four kitchen teams.
The Boyz Under the Hood
You don't see 'em much, but you love 'em! The Boyz Under the Hood in the kitchen spend hours every day receiving, sorting, washing, chopping, slicing, shredding, cooking, cleaning, ordering... and again... receiving, sorting, washing, chopping, slicing, shredding, cooking, cleaning, ordering... a never ending cycle!
The Boyz Under the Hood have pumped out as many as 385 meals in seven hours from the Truckee Squeeze's tiny 40 square foot kitchen. An amazing feat which can't be accomplished without great teamwork and advance preparation. Great job guys! The Truckee kitchen isn't much bigger than a modern day walk in closet. Each kitchen we build in a new location is modeled after the Truckee mothership, but the kitchens tend to get bigger each time.
